Lauren Campoli
Founder, L is for Lawyer
If you had asked Lauren Campoli during her first year of law school what kind of lawyer she planned to become, she would have answered without hesitation: a prosecutor. Though she excelled in the precision of contracts and property law and had multiple years of experience in civil law firms, her passion lay in the courtroom—advocating for a person’s life story and speaking to the jury.
Early in her career, Campoli found her way to Kenai, Alaska, where she gained invaluable trial experience as a defense attorney, trying four cases on her own in a small fishing village. It was there she discovered her first calling: advocating for individuals who lacked access to quality representation. That early experience set the tone for a career built on rigorous preparation, a deep sense of justice, and an unwavering commitment to her clients.
Campoli’s instinct for investigation—whether inherited or honed—has always guided her work. After trying over thirty-five cases, she launched her own private practice in Minnesota, where she expanded her focus to civil litigation, including complex fraud and civil RICO matters. With a reputation for uncovering what others miss, Campoli is known for her ability to translate complexity into clarity, and for turning hard truths into compelling narrative to bring about social change.
Today, Campoli continues to try cases and investigate misconduct at scale. As the founder of L is for Lawyer, she merges litigation with advocacy for change, exposing systemic failures in the real estate and financial industries and holding powerful actors accountable. She has handled high-stakes matters in both state and federal court, including a groundbreaking civil RICO action that continues to shape her trajectory.
With a growing portfolio of complex litigation, Campoli is just getting started—because big change doesn’t come from comfort. It demands boldness, clarity, and unshakeable resolve. That’s what she brings–case after case.

About My Why
For too long, fraud in the real estate industry has gone unchecked – hidden behind professional titles, buried in arbitration clauses, and protected by systems designed to serve insiders, not consumers. I filed a federal RICO lawsuit to expose systemic fraud involving brokers and Trust Funds – a scheme that allowed buyers to legally lock down my home with no money down for the last 3 years.
The case details how trust was weaponized, how legal and financial systems like TrustFunds were manipulated, and how ordinary people were left to fight back against a machine built to silence them. The case chose me; I did not choose it. As both a homeowner and an attorney/broker, I stepped forward not because I had the luxury, but because no one else could see what I saw: a critical detail known to only three people in the world – but only one could bring to light.
This case is about accountability. It’s about lifting the veil on coordinated misconduct and using the law as it was meant to be used to protect the public and pursue justice without fear or favor.
This is a case about changing the way real estate is done. We have listened to our call – and we encourage you to listen to yours. Whether you’re a consumer, a professional, or simply someone who believes in standing up to wrongdoing, there’s a role for all of us in demanding better – for our communities, and for our kids. Thank you for visiting.
